Diary:
our 2nd show at TTs, a fun yet somewhat awkward night. drama insued early when fellow purveyors of the scene outed a bandmate as under 21 at the most inopportune of moments--right in front of the door girl, said person's fake i.d. in hand. while legality is important, loyalty (and a bit of communication) trumps all. the night contained quite a mash-up of genres, starting with teletext, three super nice dudes hailing from emerson playing hard with 2 basses and a computer. next was our buddies from fetish chicken who rocked with there blend of often humorous and thoughtful lyrics, (is there ever even a question?). lifejacket, our host for the evening, was third, celebrating a recent wedding within the band (if my memory serves me) and playing a shorter but fine tuned set of indie tunes. we took to the stage last, played with heart, and left before things got volatile.
