Diary:
our last show we actually played in with 28 degrees taurus and our 2nd time at TTs in less than a month. The line-up was the wild business, plumerai, and 28 degrees with action camp finishing up. we didn't really get to know the wild business well, they played their set of kinks/who inspired rock and seemed to get the hell out of dodge. i believe plumerai was in the middle of a bit of touring, and in honesty, some of the fatigue of touring showed as it was a little hard to get into it when it came off as somewhat half-hearted, but very professional and polished otherwise. hey, touring gets to the best of us. their set was a bit dreamy--sweeping guitar, a steady beat, and female vox (3 female leads in a night--how novel =]). 28 degrees did their set, adding a cello to the mix, along with sufficient jagermeister (a supply that was later cut off...little backstage tid-bit for you...). after satisfying our more wino tastes for that evening at the bar, we hit the stage and did our "welcome to our living room jam and bicker session, hope you like it" bit for everyone's enjoyment. the night ended with some bar-room brawling, confusion about car-pooling, and getting ushered out into the cold night, but what is a night of playing but a jumble of fun and confusion?
